Key Takeaways

• Apple stubbornly refuses to launch a 27-inch or 32-inch iMac, leaving creators stranded on a cramped 24-inch panel.
• Iconic bottom chin bezel remains frozen in time despite internal logic boards shrinking down to smartphone sizes.
• Soldered unified memory and SSD block all user upgrades, charging extortionate $200 tier taxes for basic bumps.
• Entry model strips to only two Thunderbolt ports and omits Gigabit Ethernet on the power brick.

✅ Pros

• Exquisite 4.5K Retina display density and clarity
• Impossibly slender 11.5mm all-in-one profile
• Rich six-speaker system and color-matched peripherals

❌ Cons

• Stubborn absence of larger 27/32-inch sizes
• Outdated bulky bottom chin bezel design
• Soldered RAM/SSD with highway robbery upgrade fees
• Port-starved base tier lacks Ethernet brick

📝 Verdict

"M6 iMac has blazing silicon trapped in a cramped 24-inch frame: Apple's refusal to build a 27-inch Pro is insulting."
