• Video: Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro Review - 6 Months Later
• Channel: 6 Months Later | Type: Long-term review | Based on: YouTube transcript

Key points

• The reviewer bought them and used them for six months; the design is the standout strength, and the stem volume control has always worked well.
• When making coffee or cooking, more noise gets in than with the AirPods Pro 3 or WF-1000XM6, which the reviewer attributes to the ear tips having no foam.
• Head tracking works well, but the reviewer finds it a gimmick, only useful when watching videos.
• Features stopped working with the S26 Ultra, and the problem returned after re-pairing; the charging contacts must be cleaned thoroughly for charging to work properly.
• The earbuds are IP57, but the charging case has no water resistance rating.

✅ Pros

• Excellent design, easy controls
• Good sound quality

❌ Cons

• Weaker passive noise isolation
• Minor connection and charging bugs
• Charging case isn't water-resistant

📝 Verdict

Good overall, but the problems encountered over half a year are worth keeping in mind.

The Tech Chap

Key Takeaways

• Pointy triangular 'blade' stem design features sharp geometric edges that feel uncomfortable and cheap between fingertips.
• Crippling artificial limitations on non-Samsung phones: 24-bit Hi-Fi SSC codec, 360 Audio, and head tracking are locked.
• Slick silicone tips lose traction with slight earwax or sweat, requiring constant repositioning every fifteen minutes.
• Voice Detect and Adaptive ANC twitch uncomfortably during throat clearing or chewing, causing jarring volume leaps.

✅ Pros

• Coaxial dual drivers pump punchy bass and detailed treble separation
• Blade light LED strips deliver an eye-catching cyberpunk flair
• Robust IP57 dust and water resistance rating protects against sweat

❌ Cons

• Pointy sharp stem contours feel unnatural and sharp to pinch
• High-res codecs and spatial audio locked behind Samsung exclusivity
• Tips slide out gradually during movement due to smooth silicone
• Voice Detect stutters awkwardly when coughing or chewing

📝 Verdict

"Edgy industrial design sacrifices pinch ergonomics, while ruthless Samsung exclusivity alienates non-Galaxy buyers."
