Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Key Takeaways

• Colossal 14.6-inch footprint feels like holding a giant serving tray; impossible to use comfortably while lying in bed.
• Display notch interrupts the top bezel to house dual front cameras, cutting an annoying wedge out of widescreen media.
• Android tablet software ecosystem still lacks professional DAW and creative suites, leaving many apps feeling like stretched phone UIs.
• 45W charging feels painfully slow when filling an enormous 11,000mAh battery cell, taking ~90 minutes.

✅ Pros

• Lush 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X brings private cinema-tier visuals
• Ships with low-latency S-Pen included in the box at no extra cost
• Samsung DeX desktop environment handles multi-window floating workflows smoothly

❌ Cons

• Monstrous size makes handheld casual use unfeasible
• Awkward display notch cuts into full-screen video
• Android creative software still trails iPadOS and macOS
• Sluggish 45W charging takes 90 minutes for 11,000mAh

📝 Verdict

"Tab S11 Ultra is a phenomenal Android display monster held back by serving-tray bulk, a screen notch, and software limits."

• Channel: Android Digest | Based on: YouTube transcript (WebFetch)

Key points

• A long-term favorite: the big screen, anti-reflective coating, DeX / multitasking, and integration with Galaxy phones.
• Compared with the S10 Ultra: thinner with a better gaming GPU, but value-minded buyers can still get the discounted previous model.
• Disappointment: no Pro-level keyboard this year (touchpad / backlight require third-party options).
• Conclusion: buy it if you want the biggest screen + a flagship experience; choose something else if you're on a budget, want Windows, or want a smaller size.

✅ Pros

• Stable long-term software updates and productivity experience
• Covers media, note-taking and mobile gaming all in one

❌ Cons

• High price of entry
• The official keyboard options are weaker than expected

📝 Verdict

It can replace 80–90% of his laptop work; the only questions are whether you really need it and whether you're willing to pay.

• Channel: Brad Colbow | Based on: YouTube transcript (WebFetch)

Key points

• Thinner, with slimmer bezels and a brighter screen (up to 1600 nits); still a 14.6" that's "so big it doesn't feel like a tablet".
• The new S Pen: a hexagonal barrel and a cone-shaped tip that's better for tilt shading; Bluetooth is gone / it now attaches magnetically on the side — he's personally fine with that.
• The Dimensity chip is plenty for drawing; gamers may still miss Snapdragon.
• Don't upgrade from the S10 Ultra; it's only a noticeable jump from a mid-range or older device.

✅ Pros

• Great for drawing on a big screen, with strong outdoor visibility
• The pen is included in the box, saving an extra expense

❌ Cons

• Small year-over-year changes
• The lighter pen may make you grip too hard

📝 Verdict

If you want the best big canvas on Android, it's still the top choice; if you already have last year's Ultra, save the money for brushes and courses.

• Channel: Tech Spurt | Based on: YouTube transcript (WebFetch)

Key points

• 14.6-inch / 5.1mm / about 700g: stunning, but tiring to hold up for long; IP68 and dual biometrics.
• The anti-reflective screen and high peak brightness make it usable outdoors; the four speakers are excellent.
• The Dimensity 9400+ handles multitasking / AAA games smoothly; mixed-use battery life is about 9–10 hours.
• The keyboard cover has shallow, stiff key travel and a fixed angle; the S Pen has no Bluetooth remote functions.
• Skip it if you already have the S10 Ultra.

✅ Pros

• Top-tier display / performance / battery life
• The big anti-reflective screen suits creative work and media

❌ Cons

• Not a big upgrade over the previous generation
• The official keyboard experience and the total cost add pressure

📝 Verdict

You'll be happy if you want "the biggest and best Android tablet"; you'll be disappointed if you want "something new every year".
